
去年的美食博客周年大餐在高档的法国餐厅Gunther's举行,今年我们来到了位于荷兰村一间非常有名气的意大利餐厅Michelangelo's相聚。

于1995年开业的Michelangelo's是本地最受欢迎的意大利餐厅之一。墙壁和天花板都呈献意大利艺术家Michelangelo的复制品,用餐区以淡黄的灯光营造一个温馨又舒适的气氛。

开胃菜蟹肉饼和鳄梨配搭盘底层的香醋及甜菜根酱别有一番风味!

菜单里巧妙地加入亚洲风味,制造款款创新的意大利菜。除了有烧烤、沙拉,和独特的开胃菜,餐厅的意大利面佳肴也非常广泛。
这道加入自制番茄酱、酸豆、橄榄、辣椒大蒜、罗勒、白酒,和上等鱼汤一起烹调的意大利面味道不错,意大利面的热气渗透那一块块生吞拿鱼肉。可惜生金枪鱼肉的皮粘了太多黑胡椒粒,似乎掩盖了意大利面的甜美味道。

炸牛扒肉质滑嫩,感觉比较像在吃猪扒。撒上柠檬汁,再配上酸甜的番茄,清爽!

加吉鱼(Sea bean)囊在Phyllo面团里,放入油锅炸得香脆。配上黄瓜泥和番茄沙拉,吃得很开心。

淋上一点点草莓酱的杏仁口味financier蛋糕湿度极佳,可惜吃了那么丰盛的一餐后没办法细细享用。

I like it when restaurants present their food like works of art. The food presentation reminds me of the Academy Bistro.

banban: yes, so artistic till i dun bear to eat. dinner approx $50 per pax. lunch is about half the price, they have set lunches i think :)
the pantry pursuits package interests me more some how...what's inside? hehe!

FYI: I'm not sure Veal is quite the same as beef but I'm curious as to what the Mandarin character for it is. :)
