À La Bakery Storefront in Hong Kong

[HONG KONG] We all know that France is famous for their macarons, eclairs, mille-feuilles and buttery croissants, its influence has reached Hong Kong as many French patisseries are now popping up in various locations around town. One of them is À La Bakery, opened by a TV veteran Robert Chua. Using all products made with French ingredients and imported directly from France, enjoy a range of bread, pastries, cakes and macarons, including Croissants, traditional Baguettes, original Palmiers, fresh Apple Turnovers, premium Pains au Chocolate, delicious Eclairs and many more. They also offer a selection of healthy organic breads and ‘gluten free’ products. The dough is made in France with French water by top French bakers, and exported to Hong Kong to bake it fresh. This symbolizes quality and refinement at good value.

À La Bakery: Baguettes and Croissants

France without bread is like Paris without the Eiffel Tower. At A La Bakery, when it comes to baguettes and croissants, there is no equal to France’s famous bakeries and patisseries where both baguette and croissant are award winners, served in Michelin stars restaurants throughout France. This traditional croissant is made with 100% certified pure fine butter, crunchy on the outside, fluffy and flaky on the inside. It is light and crispy, not very oily hence it serves as a perfect breakfast food for us.

À La Bakery: Palmier, Unique Butterfly Puff Pastry

À La Bakery: Apple Turnover & Le Pain au Chocolate

Other signature items include Palmier, a unique butterfly puff pastry made with 100% natural ingredients. Using top quality fresh apples, the Apple Turnover is a delicious pastry with natural, rich and intense flavour. Chocolate lovers should try Le Pain au Chocolate. A true classic made with fine premium chocolate, the taste is light, moist and yet perfectly balanced.

À La Bakery Artisan Macarons
À La Bakery Artisan Macarons in a Box

À La Bakery Artisan Macarons are made in France from a centuries-old recipe containing only fresh egg white, top quality ground almond and fine raw sugar. These Glutin-free premium organic macarons use no cream, no butter, no chocolate, no jam and no artificial flavoring or coloring.

They are handcrafted, made with the highest-quality, 100% pure and Natural Essential Oils extracted from aromatic plants from the South of France. They are crisp on the outside, moist and soft in the middle with just enough chew. Besides the usual flavours, I decided to be adventurous to try their Rose Champagne Macarons, Figs Foie Gras Macarons and White Champagne Macarons.

À La Bakery: French Handmade 'Gold Cookies'

NEW! A La Bakery has recently launched a French handmade ‘Gold Cookies’, without eggs, preservative and is GMO free. All handmade to perfection, each piece of gold cookies has a buttery fragrance and it is not too sweet. Take a slow bite onto the crisp cookies and embrace the melt in your mouth texture.
