Craving for something sweet in the middle of the night? Now we won’t have to worry as Bingki Cafe operates 24/7. Located at Tanjong Pagar, this minimalistic-looking cafe offers more than 10 different types of bingsu, such as Injeolmi ($13), Green Tea ($14), and DaBang Coffee ($16) or the fruity ones like Melon ($18) and Peach ($15). In addition, Bingki Cafe also uses freshly baked bread for their Sweet Bread, which includes Honey Bread ($7), Injeolmi Bread ($7), Fruit Bread ($10) and Nutella Banana Bread ($9).

Bingki Cafe: Strawberry Bingsu On Spoon

The DaBang Coffee looks really nice, but sadly, it was unavailable when we went. The Strawberry Bingsu ($15) came topped with a lot of strawberries; by a lot, I meant we literally dug for the shavings hidden below. It was a great blend between the slightly sour strawberries and the milky sweet shavings. The shavings were very fine, which made it soft and fluffy.

Bingki Cafe: Mango Bingsu

Mango Bingsu ($15) was covered with mango cubes, and topped with mango ice cream that was decorated to look like a bear. It was almost unbearable to eat because it just looked so cute! Unlike the strawberry bingsu, this bingsu was pure sweetness. The mangoes were really sweet, and the ice cream was very creamy and rich. It was a tad too sweet and creamy for us, but if you’re a fan of mangoes, then you would definitely love this.

Bingki Cafe: Fruit Bread

The Fruit Bread ($10) looks beautiful as it was decorated with different types of fruits such as grapes, melon, blueberries, mangoes, strawberries and banana. However, the taste proves it otherwise. The toast was quite hard, to the extent we had difficulties cutting it into smaller pieces with a knife, hence we felt it was not as fresh. The toast were coated with butter and drizzled with a little bit of honey. Chocolate syrup was also used to beautify the plate, but it doesn’t really go well with fruits like melon and mangoes.

Overall, for such portions of bingsu, the pricing seems slightly on the high side. Still, you could always go for a drink as it’s quite a nice place to chill and relax during non-peak hours.
