Happy Monday! No Monday blue for me because I am on a vacation in Nikoi Island. It is a long awaited vacation and I am so happy to see the beautiful beach that I hope I can stay longer! You can visit my instagram for more updates. Username: misstamchiak
While I am away enjoying the sand and sea, I haven’t forget you guys. It has been some time since I last did a bento, so here’s sharing one bento which I made recently – Goldilocks and the Three Bears!
Goldilocks and the Three Bears is one of the famous fairy tales. It is about the story of Baby Bear, Mama Bear and Daddy Bear. Each bear has his own porridge bowl, chair, and bed. One day they take a walk in the woods while their porridge cools.
An old woman discovers the bears’ dwelling. She looks through a window, peeps through the keyhole, and lifts the latch. Assured that no one is home, she walks in. The old woman eats the bear’s porridge and fell asleep in one of the bed. When the bears returned…. Well, you can go online to find out the ending!
Anyway today, I am going to show a simple step-by-step on how I make my bento!

1. Using a bear mould, carve out 3 bear shape from a pan fried luncheon meat. You can then trim 2 of them smaller so that they look more like Baby Bear, Mama Bear and Daddy Bear.

2. Use cheese to make their ears and nose.

3. Use nori to make their eyes and nose. Done!

Simple isn’t it? I also used cheese and nori to make an umbrella shape to represent their house. Because the bears live in the woods, so I sprinkled some cauliflower on the white rice to show that they are in the woods. I know, this requires some imagination, LOL!
Hope you like my bento! HAPPY MONDAY!
