Nothing says “good morning” like a bowl of oatmeal. Whether you cook it slowly or blend it with fruits into a smoothie, oats provide your body with many benefits. Do you know? David Henderson, the longest living man in Britain who lived till 109, attributed his longevity to his daily bowl of oat porridge.

Captain Oats are kilned using their proprietary OatiFresh™ Process, a heat and moisture treatment to prevent oats from going bad while retaining important nutrients. They offer 3 types of oats: Instant Oatmeal, Quick Cook Oatmeal and Rolled Oats.

Instant Oatmeal are cut thinner so that it cooks the moment you pour hot water over it. Quick Cook Oatmeal, however, needs to be cooked for 3 to 5 minutes. Either way, you’re getting a convenient meal packed with goodness in just moments.

Rolled oats are also called regular oats that have thicker flakes of oatmeal. They may take a bit longer to cook on the stovetop but are almost always ready to be served between 5 to 10 minutes.

Regardless of which types of oats you are using, all of them make good breakfast options. There are so many different ways of adding oats into your diet. Here are two breakfast recipes to share with you to kickstart your oats journey!
