HOHOHO! In less than 1 weeks’ time, we will be celebrating Christmas! When we think of Christmas, we will definitely thinking of turkey and log cake! To put it bluntly, log cakes are just sponge rolls filled with jam or cream ad covered with buttercream icing. But if we don’t eat it during Christmas, it just doesn’t feel much like Christmas.

In the past, restaurants and hotels only come up with Chocolate log cakes. But nowadays, log cakes are getting more creative and there are so many variations for the consumers. Here are some of the interesting log cake this year!

We know that log cakes are very “ang-moh” style. But what if we add some asian element into it, how does it taste? InterContinental Singapore came up with Peranakan Style Gula Melaka “Chendol” Log Cake which made up of super light gula melaka sponge cake with sweet red beans and enveloped in velvety coconut cream. Very interesting log cake indeed, I like this version!
