Whenever I visit a Dim Sum eatery, I will always order a plate of Chee Cheong Fun. Silky smooth skin, savoury sauce, substantial filling — I love everything about this dish.

I was excited to discover a hidden gem in Bedok selling Chee Cheong Fun in various flavours. King of Cheong Fun makes Chee Cheong Fun freshly upon order. With 8 different flavours to choose from, you will definitely be spoiled for choice.

I had to try their Signature Pork Egg Cheong Fun ($5) which is actually a classic breakfast dish in Guangzhou! The smooth cheong fun envelops lettuce, egg and minced pork and is a delightful treat. I can totally see why this is a popular breakfast option!

Another classic is the Prawn Cheong Fun ($5.50), which comes with generous servings of plump, juicy prawns. The sweet prawns also paired well with their house-made savoury soy sauce.

Their Char Siew Cheong Fun ($4.50) is another popular option. Sweet barbecued pork was packed evenly throughout each roll, and every bite was satisfying and quite addictive.
