Patisserie Framboise – Cupcakes with Extra Topping Hidden!
I have great respect for entrepreneurs. Because they need a lot of courage to step out of their comfort zone and go into what seem impossible. American actress once said,”You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
Friend Jacob stepped out of his comfort zone and set up a bakery with his wife-to-be and friend called “Patisserie Framboise”. If you remembered, one of the birthday cake I received this year – a huge Ispahan macaron – was done by them! They are very good with 3D cakes. In addition, they recently created their line of unique cupcakes and I am very honoured to try 7 of their flavours!
Topping & Filling: Chocolate ganache
For some, you have always had the problem of having not enough cream topping to go with cupcakes, so we decided to launch a line of cupcakes with extra topping hidden inside! NJust pure indulgent chocolate goodness.
Take a look at the Classic Chocolate cupcake. The moist cupcake is well covered with chocolate ganache. Put a big piece into your mouth and you will be delighted to find more chocolate ganache within the cake! Every mouthful is filled with rich chocolate flavour.
Topping & Filling: Peanut butter buttercream
Peanut butter is my nutella. I can just lick the peanut butter with my fingers and eat it just like that. Hence, peanut butter buttercream hit me at the right spot!

Ok ok, if you are not as crazy about peanut butter, then ops for peanut butter & chocolate cupcake. So on the top, you have your peanut butter craving satisfied. When you sink your teeth into the cupcake, you will be overwhelmed by the rich chocolate ganache!
Green tea & Red Bean
Topping: Green tea buttercream/ Filling: Red bean
Why do locals love to eat buffet? Because we can try everything at one go! So I guess this Green tea & Red Bean cupcake will be a hit. With green tea buttercream and red bean in a cupcake, there is a balance of flavours and the red bean bits adds texture to the cupcake.
Topping & Filling: Madagascar vanilla bean buttercream
But if you are a very safe person like me, Classic Vanilla won’t go wrong definitely. Made with Madagascar vanilla bean, the cupcake is not too sweet and is easy on the palette.
Topping & Filling: Cream cheese
Another very popular flavour is the red velvet. Soft and fluffy cake base is topped with cream cheese filling. Their red velvet isn’t as brilliantly colored as other variations. This is because they use minimal coloring and try to rely more on the natural process when vinegar, buttermilk and cocoa powder react together. Now, can I have more please?

For something more refreshing, try this cupcake which is filled with tangy lemon filling.
