Updated as of 9th Aug 2016. Orchard Towers & Star Vista outlets have closed. The other 3 outlets details are updated below.

What is Triple O’s? Well they serve burgers, fries and hand scooped shakes!

But more than that, they serve the sauciest, juiciest, tastiest bestest burgers around, the crispiest, freshest, hottest, bestest fries around and the chilliest, thickest, creamiest, bestest milkshakes around.

This Canadian burger has reached Singapore with outlets in Asia Square, Star Vista and the latest in Orchard Towers. And the man who brought the brand to Singapore is JUN! I knew Jun in 2011 (it has been 2 years? omg!) when he took part in My Paper Executive Look contest. I was covering the entire contest from audition to catwalk classes to skincare classes to the grand finals. He came from Jakarta and was in banking and consulting for close to 9 years. He has a strong profile and fun personality and there’s always laughter when we meet. I really think it takes a lot of courage for one to quit a stable banking job into a totally new field. So I was really happy for him when he told me about his F&B venture – Triple O’s.

For those of you who do not know this brand, Triple O was founded in 1928 by Nat Bailey. He was an American-born Canadian restaurateur best known for building the first drive-in restaurant in Canada and developing the first car-hop tray. With over 80 years of history (McDonald’s only started in 1940, so they are older than McDonald’s!), Triple O’s offers what many other quick-service restaurants don’t – high quality, unique tasting food made fresh.

Triple O: Bacon Cheese Burger

Triple-O’s burgers are freshly made when you place your orders, so do expect to wait around 7 minutes before it is served. We started our burger-licious lunch with a Bacon Cheese Burger ($12.90) which explodes in my face. A teetering tower of beef patty, iceberg lettuce and bathed in luxurious amounts of “Triple-O” sauce, these burgers are not for people on dates or family get-togethers, or for the faint of heart. What is unique is, the smoky bacon is wrapped around the juicy beef patty so you get a tasty burger.

Triple O: Breakfast Club Burger

My favourite is the Breakfast Club Burger ($7.90) which has bacon, egg and hashbrown sandwiched in a delectable soft bun and drenched with a delish special sauce. We had it with Sweet Potato Fries ($2.90) which is crispy on the outside and soft inside, and served with chipotle sauce

Triple O: Fish Burger

The Fish Burger ($13.90) uses cod fish which is thick and moist. The burgers are all crowned with a slice of dill pickle on top which gives us a choice to add it in to the burger or go without it for those who do not like pickles. While the fish was yummy, it may taste better with an accompanying sauce.

Triple O

Because the new outlet at Orchard Tower has more space, Jun decided to introduce Felix’s Corner – alittle space for the their French chef to offer some French delicacies. Thank you Derrick for sharing this photo.

Triple O: French Style Egg Benedict

This is unique, this is unique. Consider I eat quite a lot of egg benedicts, Felix’s French Style Egg Benedict ($8.90) is something I have not seen before. Usually the egg benedict we have for brunch comes with a muffin atop runny poached egg and drizzled with some hollandaise sauce, right? But when this arrives, my first question was, WHERE’S MY EGG?

Ohhh… So Felix created a hole in the middle of brioche, cracked an egg in it and drenched with a homemade hollandaise sauce. This is surprisingly good and it reminds me of Egg Mcmuffin but Felix’s egg is still runny! This is good, another cooking inspiration for me!

Triple O: Whole Wheat Waffle with Syrup & Peanut Butter

And a Whole Wheat Waffle with Syrup & Peanut Butter ($4.50) to end the meal. It is crisp on the outside and buttery in the outside.

Eating burgers here cannot be too gentle, if not the fish fillets and pickles will just fall off. Remember to grab the burger tightly with both hands, open your mouth as big as possible and BITE. The aim is to make sure everything sandwiched between the burgers to go into your mouth so get the maximum satisfaction! haha~

Need supper? Come come to Orchard Towers’s Triple-Os because they are opened till 6 a.m. from Thursday till Saturday!
