We have seen an increasing number of restaurants and bakeries offering takeaway and delivery services, but let’s not forget our unsung hawker heroes who are working tirelessly around the clock to provide food options for us! Having run the stall for nearly 4 decades, this family must really be experts at what they sell. They are famous for their Mee Rebus which is filled with a thick luscious gravy. They also serve up some satay that’s grilled to perfection(minimum order of 10 sticks). You can choose from mutton, beef, chicken and tripe satay! They are open for takeaway now, and might offer delivery services soon!

Expect freshly handmade fishballs which are absolutely bouncy here at Hup Kee which originated in Kuantan in Malaysia. I love how no two fishballs are identical here! Each bowl comes with 2 fishballs, some fishcake, seaweed and taupok. Paired with their own Sambal Chilli, this dish is definitely a great dabao option, and will make staying home a tad more bearable!
