This July, Allora Ristorante & Bar at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport welcomes Korean-Canadian Chef Jun Kwan Soo (known as Chef Kenny), Executive Chef of InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72, to helm Annyeong Allora — a four-day chef residency which runs from 2 to 5 July 2026.

Introducing Korean cooking to an Italian dining room, Chef Kenny, who has 30 years of international culinary experience, is working in tandem with the talented team of Allora to showcase unique Korean-Italian combinations that will leave a lasting impression. If you’re a fan of Chey Kenny, you will be pleased to know that he is bringing a few of his signature dishes to the table as well.
The 4-day event will feature four different experiences:
1. Bar Snacks ($6++), 2–5 July :
A Korean-inspired bar snack — a Walnut Candy, Persimmon and Cream Cheese Roll — will be added to the regular menu at the bar
2. Hansang Set Lunch ($33++), 2–4 July :
Served by tray, Chef Kenny’s Hansang lunch set highlights the Korean tradition of presenting a full meal at once. Guests can choose from three sets: Beef Bulgogi Set, Pork Jeyuk Bokkum Set, or Stone Pot Bibimbap Set (vegetarian). Each set arrives with seafood Doenjang jjigae (soybean paste soup) or Naeng kongnamul guk (cold bean sprout soup), steamed rice, kimchi, namul, and a rotation of banchan. 3. Street Food Buffet ($68++ adult | $38++ child), Friday 3 July:
Modelled on the energy of a Korean street market, the outdoor buffet is casual and built for grazing. Savoury highlights include Kimbap, Tteokbokki, Odeng (fish cakes), Bindaeddeok (mung bean pancakes), Dakgangjeong (crispy chicken with sweet and sour Sauce), and Kongguksu(chilled Somyeon noodles in cold soy milk broth). 4. Fusion Buffet ($98++ adult | $38++ child), Saturday 4 July (dinner) and Sunday 5 July (brunch):
The weekend’s centrepiece — the same generous spread, two different moods. Chef Kenny’s Korean dishes sit alongside Allora’s own signatures and crowd favourites, making this as much a celebration of the restaurant as it is of the residency.
Start your meal with Korean-style Salads, Pickles and Kimchi, before you head to the Korean BBQ station for LA Galbi (beef short ribs), Jangeo (eel) and ChunCheon Dak Galbi (spicy stir-fried chicken), and a hot food selection featuring Assorted Korean Jeon (pancakes) and Dumplings, slow-braised Andong Jjimdak (soy-based chicken), Jeonbok Jjim (steamed abalone), Samchi Jorim (braised Spanish mackerel), Ori Jumureok (stir-fried marinated duck) and more. In the spirit of collaboration, both kitchens collide to create Gochujang Ragu Rigatoni, Kimchi Carbonara, Perilla Oil Buckwheat Noodle Pasta and Pizzas topped with Bulgogi (marinated beef) and Kimchi. Desserts to complete the meal include Hotteok, the ever-refreshing Bingsu, traditional Injeolmi (rice cake with soybean powder) and Bungeoppang.
