Hello world, I am so busy lately that I have no time to make a nice bento for myself. Especially when I have been travelling quite a bit during September, absolutely no breather. Now that October is ending, I finally have some free time to breath, I made a bento to make myself happy.

Sometimes, you just wanted to make a adorable looking bento for yourself or for your kids, but you absolutely have to time to make the different cute rice moulds. So you can probably use a cute baran to decorate your bento instead!

J-Mama & Baby gave me this set of baran and I love it so much that I cannot bear to use them. While typically these bento baran usually comes in, this version features a group of cute animal friends. They are super cute and you can put them in between different dishes to serve as a divider. Although the animals are holding hands, you can actually tear them apart as you wish.

Here’s a close up of the baran. I have to tear the poor brown bear apart because my bento box is really too small to put them altogether. But they really brighten up my mood when I place them among my boring looking bento. You don’t have to waste time to do a cute sandwich or rice mould to snatch their limelight! Hope you like it!

Inside the box: rice, blueberries, fried fillet, long beans, cherry tomatoes.
