Boufe Boutique Cafe Menu and Seating Arrangment

The last time I come to Phoenix Park was to have dinner at Spruce. This time round, I am here to try a new cafe – BOUFE. I fell in love its tranquil, playful and fun white café interior. It’s not easy to come here. You either take a cab or walk for about 20 mins from Redhill MRT. But if you drive, you can enjoy free parking here.

Boufe Boutique Cafe's Classic Croque Madame & Smoked Salmon Croissant

Boufe Boutique Cafe's Eggs Benedict

Since it’s brunch, we went for the Classic Croque Madame ($19) which is a typical French ham and cheese sandwich covered with mornay sauce and gratin cheese, topped with a sunny-side up and fresh greens. My friends the thick toast that is well covered with cheesy béchamel. Another classic brunch offering is the Eggs Benedict ($16) featuring homemade brioche with honey baked ham, poached eggs, homemade hollandaise sauce and fresh greens. The brioche is really soft and fragrant.

My favourite is the Smoked Salmon Croissant ($19) with freshly baked croissant with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and capers with fresh greens. I love how the croissants come in bite size, which makes it easier to pair with the eggs. They are flaky, puffy, buttery and light the way a croissant should be. I didn’t have any more stomach space, but I will come back to try Truffle House Baked Baguette ($17) next time.

Boufe Boutique Cafe's Citron Tart & Strawberry Shortcake

Boufe Boutique Cafe's cakes and pastry

If you happen to be a pastry lover, Boufe has their very own pastry production room with a see-through gallery and a good selection of cakes and tarts which are instagram worthy. The Strawberry Shortcake ($8) has light and airy sponge, laced with light textured cream and fresh strawberries. I like the Citron Tart ($5.50) with tangy lemony curd, but can be better if the tart shell was more flaky. Other options include Tiramisu, Opera Cake, Strawberry Tart and Chocolate Tart. My cup of cuppuccino ($4.80) is rich and smooth, with a crisp, bright flavor with subtle hints of bitter and sweetness.

Within the same cafe space, popular online store Ohvola is having their pop-up boutique, showcasing their weekly launches. Too bad I was running late for my next appointment, if not I would be shopping away as Ohvola is one of my favourite online shops!
