There are many strawberry farms in Cameron Highlands. The cool weather of Cameron Highlands is suitable to grow strawberries, therefore, many strawberry farms are seen in Cameron Highlands. Unforunately, we didn’t have the chance to pluck strawberries as it wasn’t the season yet.
We were at Brinchang weekend nightmarket during our stay in Cameron and we saw a very cute looking cafe called Strawberry Moment.
If there is one thing that you must try in the cafe, it will definitely be Fresh Strawberry Strudel (RM7.50). The layered pasty is filled with custard, fresh cream and fresh strawberries.
Fresh Strawberry Juice is cool and refreshing but too sour for my liking.
Chocolate Mousse Cake (RM5.90) was decent, the chocolate mousse was creamy and rich.
Out of all the drinks we ordered, I prefer the Strawberry Milkshake (pink) most. It is sweet and tangy. Frost strawberry juice is more diluted.
The dessert cafe also serve set meals.
Set A: Strawberry Strudel + Fresh Strawberry Juice = RM 14.90
Set B: Any Mousse / Cheese cake + Fresh Strawberry Milkshake = RM 14.90

Strawberry farms can be found almost everywhere in Cameron Highlands. They are grown hydroponically, i.e. without soil. All of them offer locally grown strawberries and home made strawberry jams at a very cheap price. Many of them will let you pluck your own strawberries and charge you according to the weight.
Besides the fruit strawberries, you will also be able to taste delicious and mouth-watering dried strawberries, strawberry ice cream, cakes etc. Here is a list of the strawberry farms in Cameron Highlands:
– Big Red Strawberry Farm
– Healthy Strawberry Farm
– Kasimani’s Strawberry Farm
– KHM Strawberry Farm
– Raju’s Hill Strawberry Farm
– EQ Strawberry Farm
– Kok Lim Self Plucking Strawberry Farm
This concludes my short trip to Cameron Highlands. Part of my purpose there, is actually to take stunning sunset photos. Unfortunately (again), I didn’t manage to do so too. I was shooting the sunrise in the hotel’s restaurant where the sun was totally blocked by the trees. Then, I bought a ND Filter which created two black halos in all my photos and I had no idea what happened.
If you would love to watch the beautiful sunrise in Cameron, remember to visit Gunung Brinchang. You should be able to capture the beautiful orange yolk.
