I don’t know about you, but my Christmas during childhood was mostly spent in Swensen’s and simply eating the colourful Sundaes made me happy. This Christmas, diners are treated to a large variety of Christmas-inspired dishes for both on-premise dining as well as catering for parties and gatherings.
Start your meal with a bowl of hearty Red Vegetable Broth ($8.90) with chicken chunks, toasted bread stick and topped with chopped parsley. For healthy eating, don’t forget to pick up Turkey and Chicken Ham Salad ($12.90), which is a scrumptuous blend of mixed lettuce, mesclun salad, cherry tomato, black olive, turkey breast, chicken ham, lychee salsa and cranberry vinaigrette.
For mains, I enjoyed the Baked Barramundi with Mustard Cream ($16.90). The Grilled Barramundi was made with Mustard Cream, Parmesan Cheese, Chestnut Rice, and Mesclun salad. There is also Roasted NZ Ribeye ($22.90) which is a savoury roasted Ribeye, buttered vegetables, glazed chestnut and potato wedges, topped with brown gravy.
This year’s special, is the 12 Christmas Sundaes in Swensen’s.
