Friday — the day that marks the end of the working week and heralds the beginning of a much-needed weekend. And, there’s no better way to celebrate in style than with delicious food, even more so when it’s FREE (gotta stay true to the Singaporean spirit).

With an ambience and menu that both sizzle with eclectic energy, Bochinche is the place to go for diners who want to explore a world of modern Argentinian cuisine. Feast on steaks sourced from Argentina, Australia and USA, all fired up over a Jarrah wood-fired grill according to traditional Asado techniques to bring out the full flavours of the prized cuts. The Beef & Foie Gras Burger ($29) is a deliciously messy affair that came with lettuce, BBQ onion, dried tomato, provolone, bacon and gherkin. We also love the complex flavours behind the Guajillo Cured Yellowtail Ceviche ($26) and refreshing tartness of the Bomba Arroz Verde ($27) with Argentinian prawns. With a minimum spend of $20, you’ll receive a FREE side of their Hand Cut Chips (U.P. $10) and trust us, one portion won’t be enough! Cooked to perfection, the crispy potatoes are flavoured with salt and a healthy amount of garlic. Simple but insanely addictive.

Spend a minimum spend of $20 and you’ll receive a FREE side of their Hand Cut Chips (U.P. $10). For more information about this Citi Gourmet Pleasures deal, visit this website

From sourdough pizzas to natural wines, every course on their menu is professed to be fermented with love. Their perfectly crisp yet chewy pizza dough is made from scratch daily using natural fermentation so it’s good for your gut. Topped with carefully-sourced ingredients, every sourdough pizza is a unique creation that’s perfect to enjoy with the funky and different range of wines here.

It’s hard to pick a favourite, but we enjoyed the Creamy Stracciatella Dip ($18), an indulgent mix of heirloom tomatoes, fresh parsley oil and toasted pistachio with toasted rosemary focaccia bread. The Sourdough Karaage ($20) is also a definite must-try; the slow-marinated crispy chicken thigh pieces are juicy and a divine match with the kimchi mayo dip. Their sourdough pizzas are crafted from a 160-year-old starter, and you can’t go wrong with the Shrooms & Goat Cheese ($22) adorned with creamy goat cheese, roasted Portobello, smoked ham, kale and light chilli honey. Raise a toast to the weekend with the Farmer’s Selection ($50) of three curated glasses of natural wines. Spend a minimum of $20 and enjoy the perfect side of Herbal French Fries (U.P. $10) for FREE to go with your all-natural meal.

The Butcher’s Wife

Located in the heart of Tiong Bahru, The Butcher’s Wife prides itself on its exquisite array of hearty and colourful dishes that are gluten-free and made with ingredients that have been fermented and preserved in-house with love. The restaurant is headed by Brazilian-born Chef Mariana, who also happens to be the only female head chef under the Spa Esprit Group (#girlboss)! One bite into the Pão De Queijo ($12) and we were instantly smitten with the cheesy, mochi-like snack. Once we slathered on the tomato and chilli sambal, it’s official – we’re obsessed. As for their mains, the Sweet Potato & Buckwheat Gnocchi ($24) is an absolutely brilliant dish that beautifully highlights the fragrance and creaminess of rosemary butter, with the shiitake and king oyster mushrooms adding an earthy layer of depth. Spend a minimum of $20 and be rewarded with a FREE Garden Panna Cotta (U.P. $15), a gorgeous creation that tastes every bit as good as it looks — refreshingly tart, sweet and silky smooth.
