Crab Feast at Plaza Brasserie
CRABS Alert! From now till 31 August 2012, Plaza Brasserie at PARKROYAL on Beach Road is serving a wide array of crab dishes in the daily dinner buffet spread in addition to the other yummy dishes!
Don’t forget to try Chef Jackson Goh’s new crab creations such as the Nonya Curry Crab, Butter Crab, Stir-Fried Crab with Egg Yolk, Thai Green Curry Mud Crab in Sichuan Style, and Stir-Fried Flower Crabs with Spring Onions and Ginger.
Picture above is Crabs in XO sauce, which is one of my favourite. It enhances the flavour of the crab meat without overpowering it. Each piece is filled with rich flavours from the XO.
There is also Nonya Curry Crab. Flower crabs are used for the Nonya Curry version.
Another of my favourite is Stir Fried Crabs with Salted Egg Yolk. The saltiness does not overpower, but brings out the sweetness of the succulent crab meat.
The gravy for Chilli Crabs was spicy enough and it is definitely one to be dipped with mantou (buns).
If you prefer much more intense flavour, try Butter Crabs Butter Crabs.
