The bitcoin has risen to an all time high. The demand for it has never grown that immensely, and this cryptocurrency looks like it is here to stay. Located in the central business district area, Ducatus Café claims to be Singapore’s first ever cashless café with its own cryptocurrency ATM!

The café, which will launch officially on 21 December 2017, serves up both local kopis and tehs, as well as the café style Americanos and lattes. On one side of the café you will see the coffee machine which is used to make your favourite cappuccinos and flat whites, while the other side of the café has the familiar looking stainless steel coffee pot, fitted with a coffee sock.

Ducatus Café puts a fun spin on our local delights – they offer shots of hazelnut, popcorn or caramel that you can add to your coffee. Feeling adventurous, we tried their humble-looking Kopi C Zero ($2.40), with an added shot of Popcorn Syrup ($0.40). We really enjoyed how the coffee wasn’t overly sweet and had a nice nutty fragrance. Not sure if it was the weather, but the cup of coffee really warmed my insides.

Besides the caffeine selection, the café also has organic teas, fruit juices and smoothies up for grabs.

For some grub on the go, Ducatus Café has wraps with flavours such as Chino Bacon & Eggz ($5.50). Nestled in a flatbread are pieces of bak kwa, egg and vegetables. What we liked most was this crispy and crunchy texture in the wrap, which is attributed to a ‘secret ingredient’ that Ducatus has added.

Ducatus Café also sells environmentally friendly drink ware such as mugs and tumblers.

It’s refreshing to find a café in the central business district that peddles both local and western style coffee and tea, catering to the needs of everyone.
