Five Treasures Soup

Ingredients(Portions 5):
– 2200ml hot water
– 3 cubes chicken seasoning
– 2 skinless chicken breasts, washed and cut into quarters
– 300g fresh lotus root, cut into thick slices
– 1 peeled carrot, cut into wedges
– 2 corn cobs, washed and cut into sections
– 4 seeded red dates
– 3 dried shitake mushrooms

Method:
1. Blanch chicken pieces briefly into boiling water before cooking.
2. Put all ingredients into the inner pot of the rice cooker. Close the lid.
3. Press the MENU button to select the SOUP cooking mode. Press TIMER and set for 1.5 hours.
4. Press COOK/REHEAT button to start the soup cooking process. At the end of the cooking process, you will hear a beep.
5. The COOK/REHEAT light will switch off and the KEEP WARM light will switch on to indicate that the rice cooker has automatically switched to the KEEP WARM mode.
6. The KEEP WARM mode ensures that the soup is kept piping hot till you serve it.

五宝汤

材料(5人份):
– 热水2.2公升
– 鸡精块3块
– 鸡胸肉2块,去皮、洗净、切块
– 莲藕300克,切小片
– 萝卜1个,去皮、切块
– 玉蜀黍2个,洗净、切块
– 红枣4粒
– 香菇3个

做法:
1. 将鸡胸肉放入滚水烫洗。
2. 将所有材料放入饭锅里。
3. 按MENU-SOUP选项。按TIMER煮1.5小时。
4. 按COOK/REHEAT,结束后你会听到beep声。
5. COOK/REHEAT的灯将关掉,KEEP WARM的灯亮起。
6. KEEP WARM让汤保温。
