Jade Restaurant’s A La Carte Buffet Dinner Returns
Riding on the popularity of its popular month-long A La Carte Dinner Buffet in December 2013, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s Jade Restaurant is bringing back the Buffet with a refreshed selection of more than 38 delectable creations from 1 April 2014.
Comprising of more than 60 familiar favourites and the restaurant’s elegant creations, the A La Carte Dinner Buffet is available at S$58* per person with unlimited servings of appetizers, soups, main courses, rice and noodle dishes as well as desserts. Each dish is meticulously prepared by Master Chef Leong Chee Yeng and his outstanding culinary team. You can also choose to indulge in a glass of wine along with the Buffet Dinner at an additional S$10*.
Highlights from the menu include new tantalizing creations such as Deep-fried Prawns Coated with Passion Fruit Mayonnaise, Roasted Five-Spice Crispy Pork Belly, Crispy Bean Curd with Fragrant Spiced Salt, Crispy Squid in Seven Spices Fragrant Salt etc. For an additional $9++, you can get a bowl of premium Braised Bird’s Nest with Truffle Egg White in Superior Broth.

I love the Golden “Man Tou” Stuffed with Chili Crab Meat ($2.80 per piece). The buns are deep fried till perfection and wrapped with a sweet tinge and the chilli gravy with generous crab meat.
We also sampled Jade restaurant’s new dishes such as Fish Fillet in Vinaigrette, Lychee Sweet and Sour Pork, Steamed Chilean Sea Bass with Preserved Olives, Sautéed Shredded Pork with Trio of Capsicum and Dried Bean Curd, Poached Spinach with Egg, Wok-fried Shredded Cabbage with Dried Shrimps and Chilli, Wok-fried Rice Vermicelli in Singapore Style. Omg, I don’t think anyone can finish all the 60 over dishes lah!
The climax for our dinner is Simmered Egg Noodles with Boston Lobster in Spring Onion and Ginger Sauce. With an additional cost of $18++, enjoy a plate of lobster noodles that is light yet still full of flavour. The noodles are soaked in premium sauce with generous amount of lobsters.
For a truly sumptuous feast, the restaurant’s signature crisp-skinned Roasted Peking Duck with Marinated Orange Peel and Condiments at an additional S$28* for half a duck, or S$48* for a whole duck – is a must order.
