We love their Signature Combination Noodles ($8.90), which came with thick slices of char siew along with dumplings that encase chunks of prawn in each of it. With authenticity at its heart, Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert imports their noodles from Hong Kong.

IndoBox

Jem Restaurants: IndoBox

The food here is served in big portions but at affordable prices. Recently, Halal-certified IndoBox launched a value set meal, offering Bak Mee Ayam Pangsit or Ayam Penyet, along with a choice of beverage (Calamansi or Salty King) just for $10.80 (usual price: $14.60).

Jem Restaurants: IndoBox

The Ayam Penyet is marinated with turmeric and other spices. The chicken is steamed, then fried till crispy.  The Bak Mee Ayam Pangsit is a Halal version of the Bak Chor Mee. Instead of using minced pork, IndoBox uses minced chicken for the Bak Mee Ayam Pangsit. The sauce used was more savoury than sour, and had a subtle taste of braised mushroom in it.
