If you ask me, where do I go during my off days? Quayside Isle is definitely one of my choices. I really love coming to Quayside Isle. No I don’t have a car but I don’t mind the distance. Because travelling here feels like I am going on a short holiday. Especially when I have a hectic week, I will come by for lunch and have coffee while reading a book on a quiet afternoon.

Located at the Sentosa Cove estate, Quayside Isle is strategically located next to the hip and happening W Singapore. They have more than 16 exciting international dining concepts comprising of Mediterranean, Italian, Spanish, Belgian, Australian, and is an ideal location suitable for business lunches, romantic dinners, intimate family gatherings or after work cocktails.

This Christmas, Quayside Isle has lots of sumptuous festive offerings to choose from. I had the honour to have a taste of the Christmas menus from 7 of their F&B outlets – Blue Lotus – Chinese Eating House, Brussels Sprouts – Belgian Beer & Mussels, Cove Stadium, Picotin Express, Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro, Sabio by the Sea, Tapas Bar & Grill, Saint Pierre and I am truly impressed by the great offerings each outlet has to offer.

From affordable to premium menus, from Western to Chinese dishes, from fresh seafood to tasty grills, you name it, they have it! Stay tuned for the second blog post on Quayside Isle as I introduce each F&B outlet to you in greater detail!

If you are searching for the perfect gift for a discerning gourmand, LITTLE PROVENCE (#01-23) offers customisable Christmas hampers with your choice of gourmet food and wines. Spoil your loved ones with a wide range of dips, fine olive oils, artisanal jams, truffles and beautiful confectioneries from France.

Even if you’ve never considered yourself much of a jam person, get hold of a jar of Maison Octave here and you may become a jam convert soon. Maison Octave jams have great taste and texture. Only top-quality fruit and cane sugar go into the jam. Preservatives and colouring don’t stand a chance. My favourite is the pink apricot jam. Each jar costs $15.90.

I also had a taste of Saint Andre de Figuiere Rose 2013 Premiere ($39.90) and their Black Truffle Extra Virgin Olive Oil ($58 for 250ml). The black truffle extra virgin oil is my favourite and I can’t stop dipping my bread into the oil. To add on to the celebratory mood, enjoy a bottle of Champagne Louis Roederer (Brut Premier) 750ml at $88. And just for the Christmas period, purchase six bottles of champagne and enjoy 10% off! ONLY AVAILABLE AT QUAYSIDE ISLE!

All UOB cardholders will get 10% off (minimum spend of $200). Other terms and conditions apply. Available from 14 November to 31 December 2014.

After shopping at Little Provence, I went for a very shiok foot massage at THE GOOD SOLE (#01-19). I have had a lot of massages and I am picky. Surprised that The Good Sole does a great job. Just expect a great massage for an affordable price. My female masseur knew exactly when to apply extra pressure which was perfect for my sore muscles. From 14 November to 31 December 2014, customers who spend above $50 will receive a $10 return voucher and a Christmas gift.
