Sora Boru’s name is inspired by the way the Japanese pronounced ‘bowl. Sora Boru is a brand new Japanese fast-casual restaurant concept that places heavy emphasis on serving fast & affordable Japanese food while not compromising on the quality of the ingredients.

Located at 313@Somerset, Sora Boru employs a self-ordering system which allows you to place your order & customize (if you wish) your Borus and either make payment at the self-order kiosk or at the counter. A queue number will be issued and you can pick up your food at the designated food collection point once your queue number is called.

Sora Boru boasts a wide menu that features 9 types of DonBoru, 7 types of CurryBoru, 6 types of Noodles, and 15 types of Sides. Sora Boru also serves ChirashiBorus which you can build from 5 types of fish, 11 add-ons, 3 types of sauce dressing and 3 types of garnishes.

Live and breathe beef? Then the Volcano Beef Don & Snow Beef Don ($7.50 for mini, $11.90 for regular) are your new best friends. Each don is lovingly crafted from a base of steamed pearl rice, seasoned bean sprouts or stewed cabbage, then carefully layered with beef slices that are flame-grilled on order.

The Volcano Beef Don is doused in a spicy lava sauce, while the Snow Beef Don is topped with parmesan and covered with a white savoury sweet sauce made with whipping cream.

You can also customize your own ChirashiBoru to create a hearty bowl of salad! Simply opt for mixed greens during the customization process, pick from 5 types of fish, choose your add-ons, your choice of dressing, garnish and voila! You have your very own ChirashiBoru salad bowl.

Curry rice lovers rejoice! Because Sora Boru takes its CurryBorus to the next level. Made with a secret recipe, Sora Boru’s curry is every bit rich, yet not cloying. Go for the savoury Chicken Katsu or the crispy Breaded Ebi ($6.50 for Mini, $10.90 for Regular) which are both filling and lip-smackingly yummy.
