So, the boyfriend brought me for a birthday staycation at The Club (Ann Siang) last Saturday. This is our 3rd staycation together, we have visited Swissotel Stamford for our anniversary and Amara Sanctuary at Sentosa for his birthday.

He wanted to keep it as a surprise but being the forever curious girlfriend, I kept probing him. So in the end, he gave me a clue:
“大哥你好吗?”
That was easy, because once I typed the letters into Google (very smart search engine), I found me answers right away!

The Club at An Siang is a boutique hotel with only 22 rooms. There is Club Rooms, which is the standard rooms and Signature Rooms, which is the more superior room.
So apparently in one of the Superior Rooms, the walls were printed “你好吗大哥” (yeah, the boy got the 5 letters mixed up) and it was their signature phrase, I supposed!

I was happily expecting our Signature Room to appear “你好吗大哥”but apparently it is not printed in all the superior rooms. Well, abit disappointed but never mind.

This is the toilet which is pretty. But, no bathtub nor hair dryer.

Only consolation I have, is this charger cum speaker which can save my dying phone.

The weather was too humid so I spent the afternoon in the room watching TV while the boy was busy playing his DIABLO III.
The boy booked the room via Zuji at $270 for a night in Signature Room, with NO breakfast. And right after he booked it, there was a “Weekend Staycation” promotion on the hotel’s website which guests only need to pay $240 for Signature Room (and $210 for Club Room) with 2 free breakfast the next day. Well, we missed the promotion, paid more and had to find a place for breakfast next day. Oh wells…

On a happy note, we went to watch Men in Black III in Shaw Lido iMax and had a good Italian dinner which I will blog about it in the next post.
The check in and check out service was abit slow because the hotel receptionists were new and the senior one was guiding them how to process our request.
