The Three Peacocks - atmosphere

Looking for a temporary sweet escape out of Singapore? The Three Peacocks at Labrador Park offers just that, and a ton of good food at the same time! You can expect to be greeted by Thai night market vibes as you step into the brightly lit open space with fairy lights hanging all over.

It certainly was a feast for our eyes as we walked around scanning the never-ending spread of food they offer. From Raw Oysters, to freshly grilled Lobsters to heaps of Wagyu Beef and Iberico Pork, there’s no doubt something for everybody. The variety here is so immense that we can’t even accurately portray it! All I can say is that you have to come by and experience the buffet yourself!

The smoke emitting from the Live Stations, coupled with the wafts of aroma from grilled meats cooking over charcoal had my stomach rumbling, and I couldn’t wait to dig in!

Another thing to note is that we can now take our own portions at buffets?! YAY!

They have multiple live stations focused on predominantly seafood specials! One of the highlights would have to be the Charcoal Grilled Live Station where they serve perfectly grilled Mentaiko cheese and Garlic Scallops. There you can redeem half a portion of Mentaiko Cheese Grilled Lobster which had a firm and flavourful bite! How worth it is that?

They also have a Teppanyaki station which serves Salmon, whole Squid and Hotate Scallops. A fried station with truffle sweet potato fries, deep fried shrimp to calamari! Even better are the sauces you can pair the dishes with, western sauces such as special chilli, dill cream sauce, Red wine sauce and many more!

The Seafood Bar was set up almost like a fun marketplace for diners to pick and choose their desired seafood. I thoroughly enjoyed the “shopping process”! Look forward to a myriad of Prawns, Giant River Prawns, Scallops, Crayfish, Clams, Gong Gong, Mussels, Crab, and more. You name it, they have it! Their Oyster Bar serves up freshly shucked Oysters that were seriously plump and juicy. Remember to add a squeeze of lemon to cut through that slight brininess. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

When it came to choosing which meat to devour first, we were so spoiled for choice, and didn’t know where to begin. Unlike most buffets they have a strong emphasis on their premium meat grades. From Wagyu Beef, Angus Beef to Iberico Pork! Beef chunks were oh-so-J-U-I-C-Y, juicy! I was definitely blown away by the selection, it’s impossible not to be. After the friendly staff had helped prepare the Charcoal Grill at our table, we couldn’t wait to start barbecuing EVERYTHING.

Did I mention the plethora of sauces for you to pair your meats with?

On top of too many types of meats, The Three Peacocks spoils diners with skewers too. Likewise, this comes in a wide range! I mean, the spread here is just beyond extensive! For those looking to take a break from the meat overload, they also have potato skewers, shiitake mushrooms and corn on a cob.

The buffet at The Three Peacocks is undeniably a meat lover’s dream come true, so if you can never get enough of meat, come get your fill here!

While waiting for your charcoal grill to heat up, you can dive into some of the cooked food that they have.

Their international buffet, which gives you a taste of every cuisine, will steal your heart. Craving for some Spanish food? Munch on their tender Pork or Beef Tacos or go for the Seafood Paella. If you want something spicy, warm your tummies with their tantalising Mala Xiang Guo.

They also have some Cheesy Baked Potatoes, Spicy Shredded Potatoes and Fried Rice for you to carbo-load. For a balanced diet, they even have cooked vegetables!

Well, if you think that is all, you’re sorely mistaken. The Three Peacocks take things up a notch with a plethora of Japanese food. Think Cappacio, Unagi maki coated with shiok sauce , and everyone’s favourite Tamagoyaki topped with Tobiko.
