The Australia Dairy Company is a must-go destination for any discerning foodie in Hong Kong, and There is always a queue of people waiting outside its doors no matter what time of the day to enjoy their famous scrambled eggs and steamed milk puddings.
Cups of tea were served once we were seated. We use the hot tea to wash their utensils but it is safe for consumption as well. The waiters here are all men and all of them were wearing a old school white shirt and carrying a small little notepad around.

The scrambled eggs are probably the simplest thing you could ever make, but it truly takes skill to make it tasty.
Australia Dairy Company uses Hokkaido Milk in the cooking process to enhance the sweetness in flavor. They also use chinese stove with intensive heat & flame for the prepartion of the eggs. The scrambled eggs here are the lightest and fluffiest eggs I have ever tasted. They are perfectly seasoned and moist, served with thick soft white bread.

We wanted to order the macaroni with ham but the waiter prepared spaghetti with barbecued pork in clear broth instead. The soup is light and it is a perfect breakfast with a cup of milk tea.

For those that have a sweet tooth, Australia Dairy Company also serves Steamed Milk Pudding dessert which is supposed to be great for one’s skin. It is light and smooth (no bubbles at all), with a strong aroma of milk. You can have it hot or cold.
While everything in my breakfast hit the spot, it wasn’t anything spectacular. This is really a chance to soak in the local flavor and get some quick, cheap traditional breakfast. Don’t expect good ambiance because it does not exist. In fact, you shall find out that you will be forced out of the restaurant in less than 10 mins – the typical Cha Can Ting way.
