WOKE Ramen has opened a new outlet in Changi Airport Terminal 1, bringing their unique and delicious wok hei lamian to both locals and travellers.

A cultural crossover between Japanese ramen broth and Chinese la-mian noodles, WOKE’s noodles are first stir-fried in seasoned woks to achieve a smoke-kissed savouriness, before being paired with signature broths.

WOKE Ramen offers two types of broths – Chicken Collagen Broth and Prawn Broth — which go hand in hand with the distinct wok hei in their noodles.

Diners can savour the collagen broth in five different renditions. The Chicken Chashu Collagen Ramen ($13.90) is a delicious and comforting dish that is topped with with grilled chicken chashu, onsen egg, black fungus and spring onions. The chicken collagen broth is made by simmering pure chicken bones and cartilage for over eight hours. Loaded with richness and essence, the creamy broth is sure to satisfy any ramen lover.

Other variations include Prawn Paste Collagen Ramen ($14.90) which consists of WOKE Ramen’s signature prawn paste balls, Chicken Katsu Collagen Ramen ($12.90) with a side of fried chicken katsu, Chicken Gyoza Collagen Ramen ($12.90), and Chicken Collagen Ramen ($10.90).

My favourite dish at WOKE Ramen is the Prawn Paste Ramen ($14.90). Look forward to signature prawn paste balls, onsen egg, black fungus, spring onion and wok hei ramen sitting in a delicious soup that is made by boiling fresh sea prawn heads and chicken broth. The broth has a delicate balance of sweetness and savouriness, making it really addictive. There are other variations such as Tiger Prawn Ramen ($14.90), Chicken Chashu Prawn Ramen ($13.90) and Chicken Gyoza Prawn Ramen ($12.90).

If you’re looking to really indulge, go for the Seafood Mix Prawn Ramen ($18.90)! The treasure trove of seafood is packed with the full works — prawn paste balls, Tiger prawns, scallops, wok hei ramen, onsen egg, black fungus and spring onions. You won’t be disappointed.

But WOKE Ramen isn’t just about ramen. They also offer a range of delectable sides, such as their crispy WOKE Gyoza ($4.50), which is chock full of juicy chicken and cabbage. There are also Hot & Spicy Bean Dumplings ($5.50), Chicken Karaage ($4.50), Golden Beancurd Skin ($3.50), Onsen Egg ($2.20), Mentaiko Fries ($4.50), Onion Oil Ramen ($8.90) and Five Spice Beancurd ($3.50) which will definitely tickle your fancy.

For just an additional $5.50, you can complete your meal with a choice of side and drink.
